My Great Danes

Hopefully, in time, this list will expand.  But the reality is that the Dane is a ruined breed for all practical purposes.  As hard it may be to find one to be proud of physically, it’s harder still to find one that is not a step backwards regards smarts and nerves relative the other breeds I work with.   I’ve got a finders fee open at all times of $300 dollars to anyone that so much as points me in the direction of a Dane I purchase or otherwise wind up owning, anywhere in the world.

Till then, if I use a Dane, I’ll keep using “Magic” as physically at least I couldn’t ask for much more. He brings scale, exceptional hips, better bone than most modern danes and he takes the dog aggression from problematic bitches and renders it a non issue in his pups.  I’ve not spent much time shooting images of Magic, but you can see some and his Penn hip score by clicking on his name below.
